I could NOT believe my luck when I saw a SECOND coyote of the day at Point Reyes the other day. Although I have passed people on the Tomales Point trail that had seen coyotes there, I had never seen one ON the trail before – just near the road coming in or out, so I was very excited to see one on the trail. People keep telling me coyotes aren’t “cute”, but I have a hard time not finding this animal cute. Maybe handsome is a better word.
