So I was being a bit whiny about the lack of wildflowers in Pacheco State Park yesterday, but the truth is, I DID see quite a few of them. The friendly hiker who told me about the cattle-driven wildflower massacre told me where to find some flowers that had been spared, and honestly there was a nice variety. I’m not a flower expert by any stretch of the imagination, but saw enough to feel the drive had been worth it. Here are some of what I saw:
