Prior to my recent visit to Point Reyes, the owl guru informed me that the RCA field may be a good place to see ferruginous hawks. Which worked out well because the RCA building is at the end of the cypress tunnel I also wanted to photograph at some point. If you are interested, there is some information about the Marconi RCA wireless station on the Point Reyes website. I did not see any hawks while I was there – it didn’t seem very late in the day but it was getting dark fast; stupid short winter days – but here are some pictures of the RCA building.
