The other day I wanted to go for a quick hike after work, but until the days start getting a littler longer, on weekdays I often can’t drive very far. Hayward Regional Shoreline is not terribly far from my house, so I headed there to see if I could find any interesting birds. Here is a jackrabbit crossing my path. This picture reminds me of The Year of the Hare.
