White-tailed Kite

Well, I made that decision to not queue up posts in order to post something every day, in order to both save you from having to look at boring pictures and to save me from boring myself queuing them up…and then I immediately embarked on a series of extremely exciting wildlife sightings. I just exported photos for 16 future posts! Sigh. I guess I’d best get on with it.

This is a white-tailed kite seen at Coyote Hills Regional Park. It’s not SUPER exciting because I see kites regularly, but I think they are one of the most beautiful birds we have, and also all raptors are exciting, so that’s today’s post. They are only going to get more exciting from here…
