While we were strolling along in Sunol the other day, I commented that it must be gettin’ near tarantula season, and that I saw my first tarantula in Sunol. I actually thought it was a little early for tarantulas and didn’t expect to see any, though, so I was still quite surprised to see one crossing our path a short time later! (I was even more surprised to notice something before the eagle-eyed owl guru, who is forever having to point things out to me.) I like spiders in general, but tarantulas are my favorite. How can they not be? How cool is this guy??
