The owl guru and I returned to the babies after our lazuli bunting side mission. It was beginning to get into the golden hour.

While we were photographing the babies again, we heard the jays start making a huge ruckus up the hill from us a bit. Sharon guessed it might be an owl parent they were upset about, so she followed the uproar and starting scanning for owls. It took a little while because again, owls are REALLY good at hiding in trees, but eventually she spotted him (or her)!
