I went to the main entrance of Del Valle Park for the first time since it re-opened after the massive flooding it sustained this winter a few weeks ago. I didn’t see the bald eagles I was hoping to see, but here is what I did see:
Lots of turkey vultures congregating on the shore of the lake:
A kestrel hunting:
A house finch:
A California quail:
A deer:
