As I was driving away from Burleigh Murray State Park, I saw this red shoulder sitting on a wire. I had stupidly put my camera in the trunk of my car, which I rarely do, but I was planning to make a stop afterwards and didn’t want to leave it on the passenger seat. But this bird let me stop in the middle of the road, get out of my car, open the trunk, remove my camera, and take his photo.
