Lands End is a 1.7-mile (one-way) trail along the Pacific Coast in San Franciso. It has some neat features like the Sutro Baths ruins I featured in the last two posts, a labyrinth, stunning views, and glimpses of the Golden Gate Bridge. These stairs lead to the labyrinth and further down to the coast. I’ve gone down them before but the day I was there with my brother and his girlfriend, Sue and I decided our legs were still recovering from the Point Reyes lighthouse stairs, so Michael took off on his own. He wasn’t too impressed with the labyrinth because it “didn’t have walls and you can’t get lost”, but he was extremely impressed with ocean, which he watched lap the shore for a while.
