Garin Regional Park ducks

There are a few trailheads for Garin Regional Park in my neighborhood. It’s a decent-sized park and it’s contiguous with Dry Creek Regional Park (they are usually referred to as Garin/Dry Creek Regional Park). Until the other day, I’d never visited the park except from one of the trailheads in my neighborhood, and other than some incredible views of the bay – including of San Francisco – it wasn’t one of my favorite destinations. In fact, the last time I was there, with Fort and Mark, we saw a lot more dead animals than we did living wildlife. But I wondered if other areas were more interesting, so the other day I drove to the main entrance, near where Garin and Dry Creek meet. It WAS much better than the trails near my house, with more wildlife. Jordan Pond is near the parking lot. Here is a mallard near the pond:
