It’s been rather rainy here in the Bay Area – thanks, El Nino! No one would dream of complaining following the several-year drought. It’s my first winter, or “rainy season”, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but compared to this summer, boy is it different. It rained very little over the summer and everything was extremely dry and brown. But now everything is lush and green and beautiful! Here are some toadstools I saw at Hayward Shoreline following some rain:
I also learned on this excursion that snails grow on trees! Or at least little bushes.
