Happy new year! GUESS WHAT?!? I SAW A BOBCAT!! I have a week or so of raptor-related posts scheduled, but funnily enough, I didn’t schedule one for today and it just so happens that I went for a New Year’s Day hike in search of bobcats and I FINALLY SAW ONE!! I took a ton of pictures and I got a few really cute ones but I still need to process them and I’m totally exhausted and frankly feeling a bit manic from excitement, but here is one shot of him:
Taken in the Marin Headlands, rather near the Bobcat Trail. I’ll have more after my regularly scheduled raptors. I couldn’t ask for a better start to 2016!
