I feel the need to point out that the first bird is a Yellowlegs, and that the stilts are black *necked*. Great shots, regardless!
You are absolutely right, Sharon, and I’m really terrible at bird identification, so please continue to comment if I make mistakes. In this case, the “black-legged” was a typo because I was glad those birds had two legs unlike the one in the previous post. And the yellowlegs just didn’t belong in this post – he’s correctly identified in the filename I have for that picture. If people are actually reading this blog (who knew?), I’ll have to refrain from scheduling posts when I’m half-asleep and not proof-reading them. 🙂
