Frogs, frogs, frogs!

I am going through the Virginia Master Naturalist training program this spring and we just had our final field trip this Saturday. We went to lovely Huntley Meadows for some birding and “herping” and the herps were out in full force. Here are some of the many frogs we saw:

This is a male green frog because his ear (the circle behind the eye) is the same size as the eye. It would be smaller in a female. Males are smaller than females overall though
