Total Solar Eclipse

A few minutes before totality, the clouds thickened to the point the sun was completely invisible. It was nearing the totality time of 2:45 p.m. and at one point I was convinced we had actually missed totality and was trying to convince myself the partial eclipse I’d already been treated to had been good enough. But at the very last second, the clouds parted and I saw this:

It was REALLY cool. Everyone I talked to outside the line of totality found the eclipse to be a letdown, and I can see why. Totality is DEFINITELY the coolest thing. It just looks like nothing else you’ve ever seen.
