Brushy Peak raptors

So, Brushy Peak was a bit more hot than I was prepared to deal with the other day. BUT it did not disappoint in the raptor department! I cut my hike very short like a big wimp, but I still managed to see a bunch of raptors.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen a harrier!!

There is a tree that towers over the parking lot that ALWAYS has red tails hanging out in it. This is a juvie coming in for a landing:

Also seen: lots of ravens and turkey vultures. Possibly a kite.
