The hosts of my guided peregrine hike, a group associated with Mount Diablo State Park, did not disclose to us the exact location of the nesting site, for the reasons I talked about yesterday. However, a couple of us with binoculars and sharp eyes were able to find it because there was a fledgling sitting outside of it! This was really, really far away, so again, the photos are terrible, but IT’S A BABY PEREGRINE!
