I see California quail pretty regularly on my hikes, and it’s always very enjoyable as they are so pretty – if a bit whimsical – but they generally scurry off before I can get a clear photo of them. The other day in San Pedro Valley Park, though, I came across a rather cooperative flock of quail and I managed to get a few in-focus pictures.
