So, my burrowing owl quest the other weekend got hailed out. I’m used to defeat, believe me. On the upside, I did get a lovely rainbow out of the deal. In fact, I saw a rainbow the day I failed to find burrowing owls at Cesar Chavez – apparently it’s rainbows or owls for Renae. I’d rather owls, but I’ll take rainbows if it’s all I can get.
