I have a feeling that my first bobcat encounter may end up being the best one I ever have. He sat and posed for me for a full 10 minutes. I couldn’t believe my good fortune! And not only that but he provided a variety of different poses, from prowling around to sitting around looking regal.
And doing that very cat-like snoozing in the sunshine.
Seeing this bobcat doesn’t QUITE compare to the lions, cheetahs, and leopards I saw in Africa, but as far as my non-Africa wildlife viewing goes, it’s in my top two favorites.
