Another place I visited in California last week was the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which I quite enjoyed.
This is a footbridge over Newark Slough. A slough is a type of wetland, in this case, slow-moving channels off the bay.
Here are some sloughs shining in the sun.
